I am a Navy Veteran, Submariner. Veteran groups like the VFW help out a lot of my fellow veterans through many different programs. Not only do they support other Veterans, they are run by Veterans, which allows them to better serve our Veterans. But that is not all, because we/they served our country there is an ingrained desire to continue serving our comunities. Not only will you find veteran groups supporting fellow veterans, but they/we support our commumities through service, mentorship, scholorships, and many more things. To do this these groups need money.

I am working at getting and staying fit and love to walk 5k's they are a blast both fisically and socially. This is the best of both worlds. I get to walk AAAAND I get to give to a great cause, the VFW!
